Upcoming events this April!

Dementia Carer Voices are busy taking our You Can Make a Difference campaign on tour this April.

Project Engagement Lead Tommy Whitelaw will be speaking at:


  • Care Watch, Livingston on the April 15th  

You Can Make A Difference Campaign will be delivered to staff at Care Watch

  • Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Best Practice in Dementia for Healthcare Support Workers Cohort 4 on the 20th April

Tommy will facilitate one of the sessions as part of a six week study course for Healthcare Support Workers

  • Queen Margaret University, Specialist Speech and Language Therapist Event on the 22nd April

This event will be chaired by Lisa Fox and includes talks about Neuropsychology and Playlist for Life.


  • South Lanarkshire Council, Dementia Ambassador Teams on the 29th April

The Ambassadors work in Older People services, Day Care & Residential, Adult services, Field SW teams & Ots. We are looking forward to meeting the teams!
