Thank you to Louisa Daly, Head of Patient Experience and Involvement, and Heather Caudle, Chief Nurse at Ashford & St Peters Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Surrey for inviting Dementia Carer Voices to speak at the Grand Round at the hospital last week.
Louisa and Heather also arranged a meeting with some of the team and CEO of the Trust to chat about the pledges.
On the second day Paul Jebb, Professional Lead, NHS England was visitng the trust to help with the launch of the #Dementia #AlwaysEvents and Tommy was kindly invited to take part.
The pledges from the day will help and be added to a new initiative soon to be launched across the hospital with pledges on doors to wards, meeting rooms, staff rooms in fact all doors will have a story to tell about the inspiring people who work across the trust.
A big thank you to Louisa, Heather and all at Ashford & St Peters Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for a wonderful and truly inspiring two days.
We look forward to following the story of the people and pledges as they grow.
Team Dementia Carer Voices 🙂
