This Saturday 17th October there is free creative performances for people with dementia and their carers to enjoy together. “The Garden” is an artistic installation, presented as part of the Luminate festival. Experience the immersive environment of ‘The Garden’ as the outdoors is brought inside, and we pass through each season and the smells, tastes, sounds and tactile experiences that this brings.
The Garden is multisensory, responsive and uses non-verbal communication that enables meaningful engagement with people with dementia.
Designed for people with dementia and their carers, this innovative artistic installation will be brought to a public venue in Aberdeen for the first time!
Join us as we bring the outdoors in, creating a place that inspires the imagination.
